Team Building and Private Events

Corporate team building events are designed to promote effective teamwork through a series of group tasks and activities that require effective communication and cooperation.

Often used for welcoming new employees to the team or simply trying to improve inter-departmental communication. There is a wide range of team building exercises available to help companies achieve their goals.

Nothing beats an ‘away day’ or ‘off-site’ to get people working together hands-on.

For your next team building function, consider a Kactus Creek Croquet Club outing where you will experience the fun and challenge of croquet. Croquet is not only addictive but can be learned in minutes. For team building, it's the most serious fun you can have on a level playing field, combining intense competition with strategic planning.

At the beginning of the event, the croquet pro will assist in showing everyone the basics of the game. Because so few people are familiar with the professional equipment and settings, everyone starts out at the same level as novices - which makes for an ideal mixer. The pace is easy, the tone is social, and the accent is on "serious fun." Flat shoes are required.

The game played is Golf Croquet doubles - fast-paced, interactive, and learnable in minutes. These events can be scheduled for any time of the year, but most are held May-through-October. Tailored to clients’ needs, we can offer just the venue and equipment, or complete packages which include meals, refreshments, equipment and coaches. Events can be scheduled as either a half day or evening event.

There is minimum charge of $150.

Looking for a new fund raising idea? We can come to your site with equipment and instruction to run your croquet event.

We also do company picnics, family reunions, birthday parties and any other event you want to hold.

We can seat over 40 people on the covered decks and patios. Most groups bring their own food and drinks and use the grill provided. If you have more people there is a large shop that can be rented as well.
